Mark Riley MARK RILEY

It all started in Mark's hometown of Woodville, Florida where his parents owned a local grocery store, the Woodville General Store, and a small chain of video stores named WGS Video. He developed his love of film growing up watching movies every night during dinner that ranged from Disney Classics to awfully good B-flick action movies. Mark's favorite movie of all-time is Jake Speed, and he says that, "unless your parents owned a small town video store, you probably haven't seen it." Mark went on to study Theatre and Political Science at Florida State University and put himself through school working as lobbyist in Florida's Capital.

After college Mark moved to Hollywood to start his life long dream of becoming an actor and filmmaker. He started by producing independent Theatre in Hollywood and the Valley giving him a venue to act. This led to small parts in some independent films and a co-staring role on CBS's JAG.

Mark Riley Finally after some successful Theatre, the next step was to start making movies. He teamed up with fellow Florida State alums Chris Rice and Tony West in March of '06 to form Woodville General Films. 'Dartsville' was WGF's first project and has won awards at several film festivals around the country.

Currently Mark is producing and staring in WGF's next short film, Skylight, and also producing and doing several character voices for WGF's first animated series, The adventures of Canuck Chuck and the Eager Beaver.
